Wingate advances to the semifinals next Friday, improving to 12-2-3 overall. The Trojans end their season at 7-9 overall.
THOUGHTS FROM COACH JACK VUNDUM
"That was a really difficult game and it just shows you how competitive this league is. We really came out on top in the biggest moments. Abbey made a fantastic save early and then Chandler handled the pressure so well to put us up 1-0 from the spot. We can manage the last 15 minutes much better than what we did and will work on this moving forward, but a fantastic result and on to the semis."
