Tigerville, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs got another strong outing from freshman left-hander Adam Tulloch to go along with a pair of solo homers, but the second-ranked North Greenville University Crusaders held on for a 3-2 victory in NCAA Division II baseball action Wednesday afternoon. NGU improves to 41-9 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 33-19 on the season.

- He scored the go-ahead run on Adam Sasser's RBI double to make it 3-2

- Two-out singles from Mellett, Bryant and Schneider loaded the bases in the top of the ninth
- Kipp Rollings got the strikeout to end the game and pick up the save

- Tucker Burgess got the win, moving to 12-2 on the season
- He allowed two runs on two hits in seven innings, striking out eight without walking a batter
- Rollings notched his fourth save of the year, working two shutout innings with a strikeout
- Riley Edwards took the loss, falling to 1-1
- He allowed a run on two hits in two-thirds of an inning
- Tulloch went six innings on the day, allowing two runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts and four walks
