Greenwood, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs scored twice in the final 13 minutes Saturday evening en route to a 2-0 victory at Lander University in NCAA Division II women's soccer action at Van Taylor Stadium. The Bulldogs improve to 1-1 overall, while the Bearcats fall to 2-1 on the season.

"I'm just so pleased with how the ladies responded after the disappointment of losing in double overtime Wednesday. We soaked up some pressure in the first half and came out firing in the second half and were unlucky not to go a goal up early. Overall, a fantastic night and delighted for Caroline Peters who scored her first collegiate goal."
