Cutts scores twice as #25 Wingate remains unbeaten on the year

Wingate N.C.---- Senior forward Elliot Cutts led the 25th-ranked Wingate University Bulldog attack with two goals in a 2-1 victory over the Anderson University Trojans in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. Wingate improves to 4-0-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference, while the Trojans fall to 3-2 overall, and 0-2 in league play.

- The Trojans had six shots on goal, the Bulldogs had four
- WU held a slight 4-3 edge on corner kicks
- Cutts found the back of the net twice for WU

- In the 59th minute Cutts would find the back of the net again
- Cutts beat his defender, attempted to chip it over the keeper, collected the rebound and scored on an empty net
- With just under four minutes to play the Trojans had an indirect free kick in the box, making the score 2-1
