Wingate, N.C.----The fourth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs rolled to a 7-0 victory over the visiting Trojans of the University of Mount Olive in NCAA Division II men's tennis action Friday afternoon. Wingate improves to 2-0 on the season, while the Trojans fall to 3-2 overall.

DOUBLES

- The number one doubles team of Roy Stepanov and Matteo Gostoli prevailed 6-3
- Josep Canyadell and Tolunay Sumer rolled to a 6-0 victory at number two doubles
- Enrico Giacomini teamed with Tamir Geva for a 6-1 win at three doubles
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Stepanov's second win of the day was a 6-2, 7-5 victory at one singles
- Canyadell prevailed 6-0, 6-3 at number two singles
- Giacomini notched a 6-2, 6-3 win at number three singles
- Matt Jones won 6-2 6-1 at four singles
- Sumer cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at five singles
- Christian Della Cioppa finished the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win at six singles
