Charleston takes 2-1 pitcher’s duel at Wingate

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University sophomore right-hander Brody McCullough struck out 10 in seven innings of work Saturday afternoon, but the University of Charleston had a pair of pitchers hold the Bulldogs to only three hits to pick up a 2-1 victory in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Charleston moves to 2-1 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-3 on the season.
