Newberry, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs claimed the weekend series at #13 Newberry College, splitting Saturday's South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader Saturday afternoon. The Wolves won the opener 7-2, while Wingate bounced back with a 6-1 victory in game two after taking Friday night's game 5-1. The Bulldogs move to 9-4 overall and 2-1 in the SAC, while the Wolves fall to 12-3 overall and 1-2 in the SAC.
