Wingate, N.C.----The UNC Pembroke Braves held Wingate University to a season-low one run Tuesday evening, prevailing 4-1 in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. UNCP wins its 11th straight, improving to 18-5 overall, while the 'Dogs see their five-game winning streak snapped, falling to 15-6 on the season.

- Mobley added another squeeze bunt to give UNCP a 4-1 lead

WRAPUP

- J.J. Oxendine got the win, moving to 3-0
- He tossed two shutout innings with two strikeouts, allowing two hits
- River Ryan worked two no-hit innings for the save, striking out three
- Dula took the loss, allowing an unearned run in three innings, striking out four
- Mitchell struck out five in five innings, allowing a run on five hits
