Salisbury, N.C.----The fourth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs dropped the doubles point Wednesday afternoon, but rallied back by going 5-1 in singles play to prevail 5-2 at Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. Wingate improves to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while the Indians fall to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in league play.
DOUBLES
- Catawba won 6-1 at one doubles and 6-3 at two doubles
- Matt Jones and Enrico Giacomini teamed for a 6-1 victory at three doubles
- The Indians took a 1-0 lead into singles play
SINGLES

- Giacomini's second win of the day was a 6-4, 6-1 victory at four singles
