Salisbury, N.C.----The 11th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs swept their sixth consecutive match Wednesday afternoon, rolling to a 7-0 victory at Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action. Wingate improves to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while the Indians fall to 4-7 overall and 0-2 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Alisa Rudenko and Camilla Ciaccia won 6-2 at number one doubles
- Elena Bompieri and Elena Gunfaus won by the same score at two doubles
- Chyi Lee teamed with Arianna Ceccaroni for a 6-3 victory at three doubles
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Rudenko prevailed 6-2, 0-6, 6-1 at number one singles
- Bompieri won 6-2, 6-4 at two singles
- Ciaccia rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at three singles
- Lee cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at four singles
- Riann Hsu picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at five singles
- Gunfaus wrapped things up with a 6-0, 7-5 win at six singles
