Wilson, N.C.----The Barton College Bulldogs forced four turnovers Saturday night, picking up a 26-20 overtime victory over eighth-ranked Wingate University in NCAA Division II football action. Barton improves to 4-3 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-1.

SECOND QUARTER
- Jackson Brooks capped a 53-yard BC drive with a 44-yard field goal to get BC on the board
- WU answered with a 10-play, 67-yard touchdown drive
- Crocker hit Desor for 10 yards to get it to the Barton 32
- Clark followed with five straight carries for 22 yards, getting it to the BC four
- He followed by punching it in to put Wingate on top 7-3
- Brooks connected on a 24-yard field goal in the final minute to cut the lead to one
THIRD QUARTER
- Wingate opened the half with a 12-play, 65-yard TD drive
- Crocker found Desor for 21 yards to get it to the Barton 12
- A connection with Wilson got it inside the BC five
- Crocker found Grant in the end zone to give Wu a 14-6 advantage
- Jordan Terrell took the ensuing kickoff back 75 yards for a touchdown to make it 14-13
- Terrell's four-yard TD run capped a 63-yard drive that put Barton on top 20-14 with 5:19 left
FOURTH QUARTER
- Wingate got within three midway through the fourth
- Robertson's 28 yarder capped a 13-play, 69-yard drive that made it 20-17
- The WU defense got a stop, then a Swaim 16-yard punt return set the 'Dogs up at the 44
- Crocker hit Martin for 20 yards to get it into Barton territory
- Robertson nailed a career-long 54 yarder to tie it at 20 with 1:04 left
- Barton had a chance for a game-winning 40-yard field goal in the final seconds
- The kick was blocked and recovered by Justin Armwood to send it to overtime
OVERTIME
- On Wingate's second play of OT a fumble at the BC 11 was recovered by Barton
- Terrell scored from nine yards out on Barton's ensuing possession to end it
