Wingate, N.C.----For the 15th time in the last 16 seasons, the Wingate University Bulldogs are regular season SAC champions. Wingate prevailed 3-1 over visiting Catawba College Saturday night to claim a share of the league title. Wingate won 25-18, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-22 to move to 22-3 overall and 15-3 in the SAC. The Indians fall to 11-13 overall and 8-10 in league play.
