Troutman’s 30 points leads Bulldogs to 94-50 rout of Limestone

Wingate, N.C.-----Wingate University junior forward Bryanna Troutman scored a career-high 30 points on Wednesday night, as the Bulldogs cruised to a 94-50 win over Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate moves to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the SAC, while the Saints fall to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in league play.
 
KEY STATS
 
- Wingate shot 54 percent from the field; LU shot 30 percent
- The Bulldogs hit nine-of-17 3-pointers (53 percent); the Saints were seven-of-25 (28 percent)
- WU held a 49-28 rebounding advantage and a 12-6 chance in second-chance points

SECOND QUARTER
 
- Wingate opened the second quarter on an 18-2 run over the first five and a half minutes
- Troutman and Peyton Davis combined for 16 of the points in the span
- After LU brought their deficit to 20, the 'Dogs ended the half on a 7-0 run
- The 51-26 lead was the biggest edge for Wingate in any half this season

THIRD QUARTER

- Her free throw with 4:38 remaining brought her total to 30 for the first time in her career
