Hickory, N.C.----The 16th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect in league play, prevailing 5-2 at Lenoir-Rhyne University in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. Wingate improves to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Bears fall to 6-4 overall and 6-2 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Enrico Giacomini and Edis Nokic prevailed 6-4 at two doubles
- Matt Jones teamed with Josep Canyadell for a 6-4 victory at three doubles
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles

SINGLES

- George Barfoot won 6-3, 6-2 at three singles
- Canyadell bounced back after losing the opening set at four singles 7-6, winning the second 6-1 then led in the third when his opponent retired
- Roy Stepanov won 6-4, 6-3 at five singles
- Nokic Prevailed 7-6, 6-4 at six singles to cap the win
