Wingate, N.C.----The 12th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs won their third match in three days and fourth in five days Sunday afternoon, taking down West Virginia State University in NCAA Division II women's tennis action. Wingate improves to 4-0 overall, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 0-2 on the season.

DOUBLES

- Elena Bompieri teamed with Elena Gunfaus for a 6-1 win at one doubles
- Camilla Ciaccia and Jessica Ruetten prevailed 6-1 at two doubles
- Georgina Wood and Flaminia Guidantoni cruised to a 6-0 victory at number three doubles

SINGLES

- Bompieri prevailed 6-2, 6-3 at two singles
- Gunfaus won 6-0, 6-3 at number three singles
- Wood picked up a 6-3, 6-4 victory at four singles
- Guidantoni rallied for a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 win at five singles
- Riann Hsu capped the day with a 6-3, 6-1 victory at number six singles
