Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs completed the first undefeated regular season home slate in program history, rolling to a 23-7 Senior Day victory over Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 10-2 overall and 7-2 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 1-6 overall and 0-6 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- Wingate scored the first four goals of the half
- Knowles scored the first goal two minutes in; Wells scored 15 seconds later
- Ruiz and Cifolilli added goals to make it 4-0 with 26 minutes left
- A Burke goal and two Kamer goals put the 'Dogs on top 9-2 at the midway point of the half
- Megan McKinney scored for Tusculum to pull the Pioneers with four at 9-4
- The Bulldogs scored the final four goals of the half
- Wells and Bailey started the spurt to make it 11-4
- Akers scored twice in the final 70 seconds to give the Bulldogs a 13-4 halftime lead
SECOND HALF
- Goals from Plotts and Akers gave Wingate a 15-5 lead three minutes into the second half
- Juliette Cusano's goal cut the deficit to eight for the Pioneers with 22:44 to go
- The Bulldogs scored the last eight goals of the game, blanking Tusculum for the final 22 minutes
- Kamer, Akers and Caldwell started the flurry to make it 18-7 with 15 minutes left
- Burke scored a minute later to put the 'Dogs on top by 12
- Goals from Wells and Plotts made it 21-7 with 11 minutes remaining
- Wells scored with 3:31 to go to make it 22-7
- Wells netted the final goal of the day with one second remaining
