Carson-Newman edges Wingate 5-4 on day four of SAC Tournament

Kodak, Tenn.----The Carson-Newman University Eagles jumped out to a 5-1 lead Sunday afternoon on day four of the South Atlantic Conference baseball tournament, then held on for a 5-4 victory over Wingate University. The Eagles improve to 27-14 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 27-12 on the season.
