Wise, Va.----The UVA Wise Cavaliers walked off with a 5-4 victory in game one of Saturday's South Atlantic Conference softball doubleheader, then picked up a 12-4 win in game two. The Cavs improve to 10-15-1 overall and 5-9 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 14-14 overall and 7-7 in league play.

GAME ONE | UVA Wise 5 Wingate 4

- Cashwell followed with a single, while a Heaven Maness sacrifice fly made it a one-run game
- Cashwell stole second, then scored on a UVA Wise error to tie it
- Another McDermott RBI double in the bottom of the frame gave UVA Wise the 5-4 win

WRAPUP

- Raychel Lapallo got the win, allowing four runs on nine hits in seven innings
- Raechel Cutcher took the loss, allowing two runs on four hits in 2 2/3 innings, striking out three
