Hickory, N.C.----The second-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears advanced to the national title game with an 18-10 victory over fifth-ranked Wingate University in the NCAA Division II men's lacrosse national semifinals Sunday afternoon. The Bears improve to 15-1 overall, while the Bulldogs end their season at 12-3.

FIRST PERIOD
- Tom Eccleston's goal six minutes in gave Lenoir-Rhyne a 3-0 lead
- Riley got Wingate on the board less than a minute later
- Will Canata gave the Bears a 4-1 lead heading to the second frame
SECOND PERIOD
- Vodovnik's 60th goal of the year came off a Grieco assist to make it 4-2
- LR scored the next three, taking a 7-2 lead on a Kyle Hatcher goal with 10:47 to go
- Grieco and Riley scored in a two-minute stretch to pull Wingate within three
- Eric Dickinson's goal with 4:37 left put the Bears on top 8-4 heading to halftime
THIRD PERIOD
- LR scored the first three goals of the second half, getting two Dickinson goals to go up 11-4
- Fleming answered with back-to-back goals to make it 11-6 at the 4:39 mark
- Lingasin scored off a DiLegge assists, while a Padden goal made it 12-8 with 2:08 left
- Hatcher scored with one second left on the shot clock in the final minute to put LR on top 13-8
FOURTH PERIOD
- Goals from Canata, Eccleston and Liam McGrath pushed the lead to 16-8
- Lingasin answered with a goal at the midway point of the frame
- Vodovnik scored off a Padden assist a minute later to make it 16-10
- Hatcher and Bryce Reece scored in the final four minutes to push the LR advantage to eight
