Mars Hill, N.C.----The Wingate University held Mars Hill University to an .087 hitting percentage Friday night, prevailing 3-0 in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 25-19, 27-25 and 25-21 to improve to 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the SAC. The Lions fall to 8-2 overall and 0-1 in league play.

- Back-to-back kills from Lilly Grace cut the lead to two at 20-18
- A Sutphin kill, followed by a block from Young and Lambillotte pushed the lead to five at 23-18

- A Nikkayla Stewart kill gave the Lions a 10-7 lead in set two
