#23 Wingate matches program-record 17th straight victory in dominant win over Coker

Wingate, N.C.----The 23rd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs outscored Coker University 68-22 through the opening three quarters, cruising to an 83-40 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Bulldogs have won 17 consecutive games, matching the NCAA program record set in 1990. The 'Dogs improve to 17-1 overall and a perfect 15-0 in SAC play, while the Cobras fall to 4-12 overall and 3-11 in league play.
