Bulldogs pick up first win in program history in thrilling shootout fashion

Hartsville, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs made history Thursday evening, prevailing 3-2 in a penalty shootout at Coker University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action. Wingate improves to 1-12 overall and 1-7 in the SAC, while the Cobras fall to 4-6 overall and 3-4 in league play.

- Colavita-Jones saved the first Coker attempt from Sithole
- Robinson converted Wingate's first attempt to give the 'Dogs the edge

- Wingate took a big lead on George's conversion
- Colavita-Jones notched another huge save against Coda Fisher
- Montgomery's goal put the finishing touches on the historic victory
