Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs held off a late comeback from Mars Hill University on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Lions 2-1 in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action at Pride Park. The Bulldogs improve to 7-2-3 overall and 3-2-3 in the SAC, while the Lions drop to 4-6-1 overall and 1-5-1 in league play.
