Wingate, N.C.----The top-seeded and 25th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are onto the NCAA Southeast Regional title match after prevailing 3-1 over fifth-seeded Lander University in the regional semifinals Saturday night in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 31-2 overall, while the Bearcats end their season at 21-10. The 'Dogs will face Flagler in the region title match Sunday at 3 p.m. in Cuddy Arena. Wingate is playing in the region title match for the ninth time since the 2009 season, looking for a sixth region championship.
