Cocoa Beach, Fla.----The Florida Tech Panthers scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Friday afternoon, rallying for a 2-1 victory over Wingate University on day one of the Florida Tech Invitational. The Panthers improve to 3-2 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-1 on the season.

- The Bulldogs jumped out to an 2-0 lead in the top of the first

- An RBI single from Jolie Miracle in the bottom of the frame cut the lead in half

SIXTH INNING
- Miracle started the frame with a double, while a hit batsman and sacrifice put runners on second and third
- Mikayla Wessel's two-out, two-run single put the Panthers on top 3-2
- Brooks led off the bottom of the frame with a double to left center
- She was stranded there after a flyout, popout and strikeout
WRAPUP
- Samantha Guider got the win, moving to 3-1 on the year
- She tossed three shutout innings with a pair of strikeouts, allowing three hits
