Wingate, N.C. —- The Anderson Trojans scored 20 points in each of the four quarters versus 17th-ranked Wingate University Wednesday night, prevailing 88-71 in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Anderson improves to 18-8 overall and 18-4 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 21-3 overall and 19-2 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER

SECOND QUARTER
- A Stafford three-pointer gave the Trojans an early three-point lead eight seconds in

- Clark and Troutman scored back-to-back buckets to cut the deficit to seven

- Troutman's free throws cut the Trojan lead to 43-38

- Two unanswered McNeill jumpers to start the half opened up an 11-point lead for Anderson
- A pair of quick scores from Troutman and Brandon brought the Bulldogs within eight
- An 18-4 Trojan run gave the visitors their largest lead of the game
- AU led 68-46 with 30 seconds remaining in the quarter
FOURTH QUARTER
- Wingate's quick 7-0 spanning from the end of the third quarter got the 'Dogs within 15
- The Trojans responded with the next four points, reclaiming a 19-point lead

- A Sullivan three-pointer with 1:50 remaining cut the AU lead to 80-68
