Wingate, N.C.----The top-ranked Wingate University had five pitchers combine to allow just two runs on five hits Tuesday afternoon, prevailing 7-2 over Queens University in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate improves to 18-2 overall, while the Royals fall to 10-10 on the year. The 'Dogs are now 14-0 at home this season. WU has won 23 of its last 25 dating back to last year's NCAA title run and 30 of 33 going back to the SAC Tournament.
