Pembroke, N.C.----The 24th-ranked UNC Pembroke Braves scored nine runs in the bottom of the first inning Tuesday night en route to a 12-7 victory over #2 Wingate University in NCAA Division II baseball action. The Braves improve to 29-13 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 38-6 on the season.

- King's RBI double drove home Bryant to cut the lead back to six
- Andrew McKay plated King with an RBI double to make it 12-7

- Chase Jernigan got the win, allowing a run on two hits in 1 2/3 inning
