Harrogate, Tenn.----The sixth-seeded Carson-Newman University Eagles held the third-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs to just three hits Friday afternoon, prevailing 2-0 in the opening round of the 2022 SAC softball tournament. The Eagles improve to 34-15 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 35-17 on the year.
