Charlotte, N.C.----For the 16th consecutive season, the Wingate University Bulldogs are off to a 2-0 start. One of the nation's top defenses last season, Wingate held Mount Olive and Lee to a combined hitting percentage of -.021 Friday afternoon en route to a pair of sweeps in NCAA Division II volleyball action on day one of the Queens Classic. Wingate downed Mount Olive 25-21, 25-15 and 25-23 in the opener before rolling to a 25-11, 25-10, 25-12 victory over Lee in the afternoon to move to 2-0 on the year.
