Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs moved to 2-0 on the season, prevailing 3-1 over Mount Olive in NCAA Division II women's soccer action Saturday evening at Pride Park. Wingate is 2-0 on the year, picking up a win in the home opener which also kicks off a five-game home stand. The Trojans fall to 0-2 on the season.

FIRST HALF
- Wingate got on the board in the 16th minute
- Peters sent a perfect through ball to Ditillo, who lined one into the back of the net to put WU on top
- UMO scored the equalizer seven minutes later
- Emliy Hein scored off a Delia Allwood assist to make it 1-1
- Wingate regained the lead 10 minutes before halftime
- Ditillo took the ball from a UMO player and found Setzer, who ripped her first goal into the left side of the net
SECOND HALF
- Wingate scored four minutes into the second half to take a two-goal lead
- Rubio Garcia sent one in front of the goal, where Cowley headed it home to make it 3-1
