Late goal gives Crusaders tight 1-0 victory at Wingate

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University field hockey team played Belmont Abbey College to a scoreless tie for 58 minutes Wednesday night, but a late goal from the Crusaders sent the visitors to a 1-0 victory in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Belmont Abbey improves to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play, while the Bulldogs drop to 0-4 and 0-2 in league play.
