Wingate and #19 Carson-Newman play to scoreless draw

Box Score Jefferson City, Tenn.----The Wingate University Bulldogs notched their second consecutive clean sheet on Saturday night, but left with a 0-0 draw on the road at #19 Carson-Newman University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action. The Bulldogs move to 2-2-3 overall and 1-0-2 in the SAC, while the Eagles move to 3-1-3 overall and 1-0-2 in league play.

FIRST HALF
 
- Westburg had a shot saved and hit the post in back-to-back possessions in the 28th and 29th minutes
- Janjic made his first save of the night on a header by Ewan Lynch in the 40th minute
- Ditommaso answered back with a shot on goal, but the Eagles made the save
 
SECOND HALF
 
- Ditommaso fired a shot on target less than 90 seconds into the half
- C-N was able to put two shots on goal in the final eight minutes, but Janjic made both saves to secure the point
