#24 Bulldogs sweep past Bears to hand LR first SAC loss of the year

Wingate, N.C.----The 24th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect in league play Tuesday night, handing the Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears their first conference setback of the season with a 3-0 victory in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-17 to move to 14-1 overall and 5-0 in the SAC. The Bears fall to 8-4 overall and 4-1 in league play.

- Wingate had 46 kills and 16 errors in 122 attacks, hitting .246
- LR had 29 kills and 16 errors in 117 swings to hit .111
