Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs fell 7-0 in their home game against eighth-ranked Converse University on Wednesday night at Graham Gill Field in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action. The Valkyries improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs drop to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in league play.

- After being held scoreless for nearly 30 minutes, Converse added its third goal just over two minutes into the second half before adding another less than two minutes later
- Catalina Pistaccio and Lotte Kanters eached scored their third goals of the game later in the quarter, as Converse took a 6-0 lead
FOURTH QUARTER
- Pistaccio's fourth goal of the night with less than 10 minutes remaining capped the scoring
