Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs shot over 50 percent from the field and three-point range, as well as over 90 percent from the free throw line Wednesday night, pouring in 86 points en route to an 86-51 victory over Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bulldogs improve to 11-4 overall and 4-2 in the SAC, while the Trojans drop to 8-7 overall and 2-3 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER
 
- Anderson scored the opening basket before Wingate took the lead after Hege's three two minutes in
- The triple kickstarted a 12-0 run, as Troutman's layup put the 'Dogs up 12-2 with six minutes to go
- Hege's three-pointer sent the lead to 11 points at the 4:37 mark
- Davis' jumper put the 'Dogs up 21-9 two minutes later
- The teams traded baskets down the stretch, as WU took a 23-13 lead into the quarter break
 
SECOND QUARTER
 
- Diamond McDowell's layup cut the deficit to eight less than two minutes in
- Three straight WU buckets pushed the lead to 14 at 31-17
- The teams traded baskets over the next four minutes, as AU cut it to 12 at the 3:51 mark
- Wingate went on a 10-0 run to end the half, leading 45-23 after 20 minutes
 
THIRD QUARTER
 
- WU scored the first five points of the second half to extend the run to 15-0, taking a 50-23 run at the 8:37 mark
- A Troutman layup and a pair of Sullivan free throws pushed the lead to 29 near the midway point of the quarter
- The teams traded baskets for the next four minutes, before a three-pointer from Bethel Ekperigha broke up a pair of Beale layups to cap a 7-0 run, as WU took a dominating 65-32 lead with a quarter to go
 
FOURTH QUARTER
 
- Beale added to the run to start the fourth quarter, as Wingate led 67-32
- The Trojans cut the deficit under 30 after a Brittney Stafford three-pointer at the 7:12 mark
- WU extended the lead down the stretch, leading by as much as 37 points after a pair of free throws from Kyndall Shivers
- Alana Eakle's jumper capped the final score of 86-51
