Wingate sweeps past Lincoln Memorial to move to 17-2 on the year

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs hit .316 while holding Lincoln Memorial University to a .057 hitting percentage Saturday afternoon, prevailing 3-0 in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-17 to improve to 17-2 overall and 10-1 in the SAC, pushing its winning streak to eight. The Railsplitters fall to 8-13 overall and 2-9 in league play.

- Wingate had 41 kills and 11 errors in 95 attacks, hitting .316
- LMU had 30 kills and 24 errors in 105 swings to hit .057
- The Bulldogs held a 45-42 advantage in digs

- An Abigail Kesler kill pulled LMU to within one at 16-15
- Rowoldt's kill made it 19-17, but an Agata Bogdankska kill cut it back to one
