Wingate, N.C.----The Lander University Bearcats broke open a tie game by outscoring Wingate University 3-0 in the second half Tuesday evening, prevailing 4-1 in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. The Bearcats improve to 9-3 overall and 9-3 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 3-11 overall and 3-9 in league play.
