Hickory, N.C.----The nationally-ranked Wingate University men's and women's swimming teams won 28-of-28 events, sweeping a South Atlantic Conference dual meet over host Lenoir-Rhyne University in the Shuford Physical Education Center pool Saturday. The No. 9 women claimed a 226-33 triumph, while the No. 8 men posted a 222-34 victory.
 
The Bulldog men won 14-of-14 events for the second event in a row, as Wingate claimed 14 event victories over Chowan at UNC Pembroke on Oct. 21. The Wingate teams return to action Friday, venturing to Atlanta for the two-day Emory University Invitational.

- Manoel Silva contributed to four victories against the L-R Bears
- Individually, Silva touched first in the 50 Freestyle (21.01) and the 100 Freestyle (46.64)
- Silva won the 50 Butterfly (23.11) and swam the first leg in the 200 Free Relay (1:24.98)
- Ney Chagas Filho and Damir Ipkaev had a hand in three victories each
- Chagas Filho won the 50 Backstroke (23.74) and the 100 Backstroke
- Ipkaev won the 200 Freestyle (1:42.88) and the 500 Freestyle (4:40.11)
- Chagas Filho swam the opening leg as WU won the 200 Medley Relay (1:34.38)
- Ipkaev joined Silva, Alex Smyre and Jonathan Douib in the 200 Free Relay win
- Smyre, Douib and Chagas Filho teamed with Martin Racek in the 200 Medley Relay

- Nina Azirovic and Vera Karlsson contributed to three victories each
- Individually, Azirovic won the 100 Freestyle (53.92) and the 200 Freestyle (1:56.28)
- Karlsson touched first in the 50 Backstroke (27.29) and the 100 Backstroke (58.79)
- Karlsson edged teammate Marta Beesmans Barquero by 0.02 seconds in the 100 Back
- Azirovic and Karlsson helped the 'Dogs win the 200 Medley Relay (1:47.64)
- They were joined by Wiktoria Dwojak and Lucie Andrews in the meet-opening race
- Natalia Dwojak and Hana Kubalova won two individual events each
- Kubalova won the 100 Butterfly (59.51) and the 50 Butterfly (27.32)
- Natalia Dwojak won the 50 Breaststroke (30.01) and the 50 Freestyle (24.47)
- Wingate concluded the dual meet with a triumph in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:42.38)
