Wingate, N.C.----The Augusta University Jaguars outscored #14 Wingate University 43-32 in the second half Saturday afternoon, prevailing 75-66 in NCAA Division II women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Augusta improves to 3-0 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 3-1 on the season.

- Alford's bucket with two minutes to go gave the Jaguars a 16-15 edge
- Clark's three-point play with six seconds remaining put the 'Dogs on top 20-18

SECOND QUARTER

- A Brianna Meekins layup gave Augusta a 24-22 lead two minutes in
- A Clark triple and Breelove layup gave the 'Dogs a 30-26 advantage at the 3:01 mark
- Two Wilson free throws pushed the lead to five with 43 seconds left
- A Nyaneit Polk triple with 33 seconds left made it 34-32

THIRD QUARTER

- An Autumn Phillips bucket but the Jaguars on top by three at the 7:14 mark
- Buckets from Clark and Hege put Wingate back ahead at the midway point
- Another Phillips three put Augusta on top by four at 44-40
- Four Clark free throws and two Beale free throws gave Wingate a 46-44 advantage
- Two more Phillips triples gave the Jags a 50-46 lead
- Phillips buried another three in the final minute to make it 53-48

FOURTH QUARTER

- An Alford layup at the 7:24 mark extended the AU lead to 12
- A Breedlove triple and Clark layup pulled WU within seven at 66-59 with 2:34 to go
- A Phillips free throw pushed it back to nine, but three Hege free throws cut it to six
- Beale's jumper with 1:23 to go pulled Wingate within five
