Wingate, N.C.----For the 17th time in the last 18 seasons, the Wingate University Bulldogs are regular season SAC champions. The 'Dogs swept UVA Wise Thursday night in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action, winning by scores of 25-19, 25-20 and 25-23 to improve to 24-2 overall and 16-1 in the SAC, pushing their winning streak to 15. The Cavaliers fall to 9-16 overall and 2-15 in league play.

- Wingate had 51 kills and 13 errors in 139 attacks, hitting .273
- UVA Wise had 40 kills and 18 errors in 147 swings to hit .150
