Bulldogs drop five-set heartbreaker against Trojans in regional semifinals

Wingate, N.C.----The fourth-seeded Anderson University Trojans won the final two sets Saturday evening, rallying for a 3-2 victory over top-seeded Wingate University in the semifinals of the 2023 NCAA Southeast Regional volleyball tournament in Cuddy Arena. Anderson won by scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-27, 25-22 and 15-12 to improve to 27-5 overall. The Bulldogs fall to 28-4 on the year.
