Wingate, N.C.----Reigning South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year
Seaver King hit for the cycle Thursday night, leading the way as #24 Wingate University erased a six-run deficit to prevail 15-10 against Nova Southeastern University in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium. Wingate improves to 5-3 overall, while the Sharks fall to 3-3 on the season.

FIRST INNING
- A Daniel Irisarri two-run homer and Adam Smith solo shot gave NSU an early 3-0 lead
THIRD INNING
- Ihosvany Castaneda's two-run homer put the Sharks on top by six
- Dansky led off the bottom of the frame with a solo shot to get Wingate on the board
- Clark added a double, then scored on an RBI single from Adams to make it 6-2
FIFTH INNING
- Singles from Dansky and King, along with a hit batsman loaded the bases for Wingate
- Adams drew a bases-loaded walk to cut the lead to three
- A two-out, two-run single from Williams-Rhem made it 6-5
SIXTH INNING
- A Derek Bermuda RBI single pushed the NSU lead back to two
- King launched a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning to tie it at seven
SEVENTH INNING
- Wingate exploded for six runs to take the lead
- Barnett started the frame with a double, then scored on a Williams-Rhem RBI single
- Simpson's sacrifice fly gave the 'Dogs a two-run lead
- Dansky ripped an RBI double down the right field line to put Wingate in double figures
- King followed with an RBI triple to complete his cycle, making it 11-7
- He scored on a passed ball, while Clark drew a bases-loaded walk to give Wu a six-run lead
EIGHTH INNING
- A Dansky double and Clark RBI single put the 'Dogs on top 14-7
- King scored when Adams reached on an error to give Wingate an eight-run lead
WRAPUP
- Riehl got the win, moving to 1-0 on the year
- He did not allow a hit or a run in 1 1/3 innings, striking out one without a walk
- Stephen Schissler took the loss, allowing six runs on five hits in two-thirds of an inning
