Pembroke, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs stayed hot Tuesday afternoon, taking down #10 Adelphi 6-5 to start then day before rolling to a five-inning 8-0 victory over UNC Pembroke in NCAA Division II softball action. Wingate improves to 10-4 on the season, pushing its winning streak to eight.

- She scored on an RBI single from Maness to cut the lead to two
- Kale followed with an RBI single to pull the 'Dogs within one
- Scott tied it at five with an RBI double, plating Kale

- Kaylee Hogbood drew a one-out walk, while Maness followed with a single
- A Scott walk loaded the bases with two outs
- Brooks ripped the game-winning double off the wall in left to give WU the walk-off win

- Scott got the win, moving to 3-2 on the year
