Hickory, N.C.----The 10th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs outscored Lenoir-Rhyne University 16-2 over the final three quarters Wednesday afternoon, rolling to an 18-5 road victory in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action. Wingate improves to 10-2 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Bears fall to 4-7 overall and 3-2 in league play.

SECOND QUARTER

- The 'Dogs outscored the Bears 8-0 in the second quarter
- WIlgeroth started the scoring 14 seconds in
- Pellett scored twice off two Kamer assists in a 33-second span to make give WU a 5-3 lead
- A Fuchs goal off a Kamer assist with 12 minutes to go pushed the lead to three
- Clouser's goal off a Ruiz assist at the 9:14 mark made it 7-3
- Caldwell found the back of the net off a Wilgeroth assist for Wingate's seventh goal in eight minutes
- Knowles scored off a Scherer assist to make it 9-3 with 3:02 remaining
- Garvin scored off a Knowles assist to give the 'Dogs a 10-3 halftime advantage

THIRD QUARTER

- Clouser scored off a Knowles assist midway through the frame to cap WU's 10-0 run
- Jolan Morey halted LR's 26-minute scoreless drought with a goal to make it 11-4
- The 'Dogs scored the final five goals of the frame, starting with Clouser's goal at the 6:26 mark
- Garvin's goal off a Kamer assist made it 13-4 with 3:53 to go
- Garvin struck again off a Caldwell assist to put the 'Dogs on top by 10

- Rylie McGhan scored in the opening minute of the fourth to cut the lead to 10
- The Bulldogs responded by scoring the final three goals of the day
- Garvin's goal off a Kamer assist stretched the lead back to 11 with 9:43 remaining
- Wilgeroth scored at the 6:29 mark to make it 17-5
- Wilgeroth scored the final goal of the day with 1:45 to go off Kamer's 100th career assist
