Wingate, N.C.----The 10th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs remained perfect in league play Saturday afternoon, prevailing 13-6 over Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium. The Bulldogs improve to 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 8-6 overall and 3-4 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER
- Wingate scored four times in the opening six minutes
- Ruiz scored off a Watson assist one minute in

- Kamer scored 90 seconds later, while A Watson goal off a Knowles assist with 9:28 left made it 4-0
- Cassidy Jones got AU on the board with 7:45 remaining
- Garvin and Kamer answered with goals to make it 6-1 at the 4:22 mark
- Alicia Cannon's goal cut the lead to four with three minutes left
- Wilgeroth scored with 26 seconds to go to make it 7-2
SECOND QUARTER
- Ruiz scored 34 seconds into the second to push the lead to six
- Scherer and Knowles scored in a 31-second span, getting assists from Kamer and Wilgeroth to make it 10-3
THIRD QUARTER
- Hannah Thomas scored the first two goals of the second half, pulling AU to within five with 7:43 to go
- Higgins pushed the lead back to six at the 4:20 mark
- Wilgeroth scored off a Kamer assist to make it 12-5 heading to the final frame
FOURTH QUARTER
- Cannon scored the first goal of the frame over 10 minutes in
- Watson scored the final goal of the day with 1:29 remaining to make it 13-6
