Wingate, N.C.----Trailing by four with under three minutes remaining, the sixth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs scored three times in a 68-second span to pull to within one, then had a chance in the final minute to tie it, but third-ranked UIndy was able to hang on for an 11-10 victory in the opening round of the NCAA Division II men's lacrosse South Regional. The Greyhounds improve to 12-3 overall, while the Bulldogs end their season at 12-3. The regular season SAC champion Bulldogs were making their fifth NCAA Tourney appearance in the last six years, hosting their first-ever NCAA Tourney contest.
