Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect in league play Saturday afternoon, scoring three goals in an 11-minute span en route to a 3-1 victory over Carson-Newman University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. The Bulldogs improve to 3-2-1 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the Eagles fall to 2-2-1 overall and 0-1 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- Pozos got the scoring started in the 16th minute
- He scored off a Hamzic assist to put WU on top 1-0
- Harry Whitehead answered six minutes later for C-N to tie it at one
- Wingate had the immediate response, scoring two minutes later to regain the lead
- Mafela scored the go-ahead goal off a Grant assist to make it 2-1
- WU struck again less than two minutes later to take a two-goal lead
- It was Pozos finding the back of the net again off another Grant assist to make it 3-1
