Wingate, N.C.----The ninth-ranked Newberry College Wolves scored three times in the first five minutes of the third quarter Tuesday evening en route to a 6-2 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. The Wolves improve to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 2-5 overall and 2-4 in league play.

- Westbrook scored 40 seconds into the half to put the Wolves on top by two
- Keeler struck again less than three minutes later to make it 4-1
- Keeler's third goal of the game came 4:39 into the quarter to put Newberry up by four
- Haines answered with a goal two minutes later to pull the 'Dogs within three

- Westbrook capped the scoring with a goal 4:38 into the final frame
