Gaffney, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs went on the road Saturday afternoon and picked up a big conference victory, scoring the first 31 points en route to an emphatic 38-12 victory at Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference football action. Wingate improves to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the SAC, while the Saints fall to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in league play.

- Bentley hit McCray for a 12-yard touchdown on third-and-four to make it 10-0
- The 'Dogs needed just three plays to go 70 yards on their next drive

THIRD QUARTER
- Wingate went 78 yards on four plays to add to its lead on the opening drive of the second half
- Barnett started it with runs of six and 15 yards, while a Bentley 36-yard scamper got it to the 21
- Barnett scored from 21 yards out on the next play to make it 24-0 two minutes into the half
- Limestone forced a WU punt, but it was muffed and recovered by Squires at the LU 34
- A Siemer 14-yard run got the 'Dogs to the red zone
- Bentley hit McCray for a 19-yard TD on the next play, putting the 'Dogs on top 31-0 at the 4:12 mark
- Dustin Noller hit DJ Black for a 74-yard touchdown to get Limestone on the board
- Russell blocked the PAT, making it 31-6 with 3:21 remaining in the quarter
FOURTH QUARTER
- Noller and Black connected again for a 39-yard touchdown to make it 31-12 at the 14:34 mark
- Wingate answered with a four-play, 60-yard touchdown drive

Austin Cain for 18 yards on the first play of the drive
- Wallace scored from 34 yards out to give the Bulldogs a 38-12 lead with 12:03 to go
